All I wanted growing up was to be skinny. I never once considered my health, or what my body was cable of.

From ages 12-20, I did every fad workout and diet (I’m looking at you food combining). This eventually led to me having an eating disorder and unhealthy relationship with exercise, food, and my body.

2020 changed everything.

I was home from college and had nothing but free time. I knew if I didn’t look myself in the mirror then, I probably never would.

I decided to start running, and I absolutely hated it. With the world shut down, I kept showing up for myself anyways. It probably wasn’t until day 35 that I was actually kinda excited to workout. It no longer felt like a punishment, it felt like something I was excited to do.

I kept showing up for myself, and suddenly my negative thoughts started to get quieter and my confidence started to grow.

I finally started to see the importance of strength training, nutrition, and recovery-no longer tools to change how I looked, but ways to support how I felt.

I transformed into a completely different version of myself that bled into all aspects of my life. Health became one of the greatest acts of self love for myself, no longer a punishment. Health felt like self respect.

From there, I stopped listening to unqualified influencers and started trusting the science. I studied for my NASM Personal Training Certification. I knew for a fact that if I could rebuild my relationship with fitness, other people could as too.

Since then, I’ve become certified in both Personal Training and Group Fitness, and have coached hundreds of people across New York City—including NYU, Orangetheory, F45, and Movement & Mindset.

Now, I’m passionate about helping people build strength, confidence, and a healthier relationship with movement from the inside out.
